**March 2005-April 2005 Updates**

Wednesday, April 13:

More page setup: Cartridge Pleating, Snape, McGonagall, Richard Harris Dumbledore, Michael Gambon Dumbledore, Hagrid, and Lupin.

Also got another email to add another picture site to the list: DanRadcliffe.com.

Monday, April 11:

Started out the day having a very large arguement about the ties. Well, not the ties, the knots. After much discussion, looking at pictures, and finally pulling out DVDs it was determined that all the ties from POA were tied with four-in-hand knots. Makes sense, it just took a visual demonstration on how the same way of tying a knot can end up in both a triangle and a rectangle. Anyone feel free to email me in disagreement, but I'm forwarding all emails to stubborn boyfriend, who is adamant that they are all four-in-hand.

Eh, at least I used the arguement to make some good updates in the ties sections. Also added a 'make your own tie' page and a 'Convention News' page. Have been working on adding picture references to POA page. Also added links on tea dying to the shirts section. Put up my first fan costume link!

Sunday, April 10:

I've slacked off a little this week. On the 19th my boyfriend and I are finally severing our last military ties and moving back to Kansas. It's quite a feat, as I'm a costumer and he's a tech junkie, and we have quite a bit to move, and it's a long way from New Orleans. I've been trying to pack all the fabric, which is definately a sentimental thing to do! Anyway, things are slowing down, but definately not stopping. I'll keep updating until I have to unplug the computer and it's going in the truck last, darnit!

I have gotten some things done, though. I set up the big Robe-Making page and filled it with as much info as I could. Set up the Patch-Making page and put up info there, too. Also put up pictures on the 'What's the Difference' page. Set up some more info in the FAQs, made all the head pages have pretty wordings instead of the silly link guides they had before, and fixed the meta tags everywhere.

Monday, April 4:

I've got another picture site onboard, Dan-Radcliffe.net! Everyone go visit them and say thanks!

Sunday, April 3:

After some nice email conversations with some great webmasters, I have pictures for the site! Emma Watson Community, Emma Empire, and The Black Forest have given me permission to deeplink their pictures, and Veritaserum and DanRadcliffe.co.uk have allowed me to take what I want from their galleries and host it here! Everyone go visit them in thanks!

Due to their generosity I am slowly putting up links and pictures on the research pages. I'm still trying to concentrate on the students' school robes from the movies, because I figure that's what people will want in a hurry for Half-Blood Prince release night and Goblet of Fire openings. I am collecting info for the other pages, though, so if you want a page up faster on a certain teacher, adult, muggle clothing, etc, email me with some info to put on it ! :D

Saturday, April 2::

Well, I spent much of this morning doing computer maintenance. Major virus scan, de-spyware, defrag, the works. Nothing wrong, just been running slow recently, especially with the programs I use on the website. It's all better now.

After my big cleanup I decided to fill my space up again, so I downloaded Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, and Opera. Glad this place looks pretty decent on all of them! I did notice some funny overlapping with Firefox when I first opened a page, but with a refresh or a link back, it fixed, and it was only once per template. So if you're running firefox and you have a problem with the yellow box going under the side bar, just refresh and that should fix it!

I got the Contacts page up and running, it looks better I think. Still more work on the FAQ and the links organization that's not published yet, but I'm hopeful it will be soon!

Thursday, March 31:

More mundane things that look little but take time. Experimented with linkage, but the orange color that's in place now seems the best on the browsers I tested. I'm expanding with more headings and trying to get an actual Contacts page up. Propaganda_Live, who made our pretty site graphics, also made some 'link to us' banners that you can find on the Contacts page as well. I'm wondering, after having searched through quite a few pages for link banners to other sites, if I should add a separate "Link to Us" page, but I've put it aside for now.

Wednesday, March 30:

I've added a POA/GOF Student Robes page that matches the PS/SS/COS page. I also started on a "What's the Difference" page to help people decide which movie robes they want to do.

Tuesday, March 29:

I've added links to some picture galleries in the Links section. I'm in negotiations with some of these sites to use their pictures on here for references, so hopefully we'll see them soon.

Monday, March 28:

On a recommendation from some visitors who had problems in different browsers, I have nestled all pages in an overall table. This should help out with some of the problems with wrapping and such.

Sunday, March 27:

I'm continuing my work from yesterday. I'm trying to add actual headings to all the index pages and get rid of those silly links-only guides. It's coming along slowly but surely. I've also added to the Links page and the FAQ page, and I've put up the standard copyright/disclaimer thing at the bottom of all the pages. I also realized the student pages were missing a link for GOF Dress Robes, although the page was there all along. Now the link is there, too. I'm toying with the idea of creating a master vendor list, kinda a links directory to every vendor featured on the site, but I haven't decided for sure. I'll keep you posted. Finally, I changed all the links from the light orange to a darker orange. I thought it would be bolder and easier to see, especially with these smaller words.

Saturday, March 26:

The website was finally debuted. Content is going up slowly. The wands page is coming along nicely, and now has two 'make-it-yourself' tutorials as well as vendor links. There is a SS/PS/COS Student Robes page going up as well.
