Victorian Corset

Has a curved front to support the bust and push it out. Has a laced back and usually a split, hook-and-eye busk in the front. There are usually no straps. The boning is usually positioned in channels along the seam lines, about one bone every inch to three inches. Boning may be augmented by strategic cording or quilting for support and shape. The waist is cinched in and the corset ends on the hips.
