Drafting an Underbust Corset: ~Type One~ ~Type Two~
|
Tube Corset Tight to the chest at the top to compress the bust and push it up and out or down and flat. Laces in the back with an optional separating busk in the front. Comes in slightly at the waist, and then extends down over the hips. This corset smoothes out the torso into a straight, tube-like shape. The boning is usually positioned in channels along the seam lines, about one bone every inch to three inches. There may or may not be a heavy busk in the front designed to either flatten the bust and chest into a tube shape or split the breasts in the front. |
