Georgian Corset Has a rounded front to push the bust up and out. The front bust area is wide with a narrow back. Lacing is back or front and back. Straps are common and far out on the shoulder points. Boning is usually butted up against other boning, making a very heavily boned construction. Common bones from period were walebone, reeds, or cords. Waist is natural or low, with a straight waist or a basque in the front. |
