Fifties Corset

Starts under the bust. No straps. Lacing is in the back, although elastics and hooks are more common than traditional lacing. The corset comes in at the waist to compress and extends low on the hips and stomach to smooth and shape into an hourglass figure. Corset is usually very lightly boned, and has a series of elastic and spandex panels to tighten and hold in the wearer.
